Meet The Host

Sean Lundy

Sean has been blessed enough to be involved in the Outdoor lifestyle from his early as he could walk. Being born and raised on Long Island in New York. His dad consistently made it a point to drag him to the Adirondacks and Catskill mountains to pursue whitetails and eastern turkey. Since those first days he has had a passion for the Outdoors and never let up after finishing high school. He served in the United States Marine Corps, where he had the opportunity to venture out and see more than just the East Coast. It was then he told his parents that some way somehow, he would be settling down in the Midwest to continue to pursue his passion for chasing whitetails.

Sean has always had a niche for filming and documenting his hunts and over the last decade has had the opportunity to have many of him and his family hunts featured on outdoor television to include Drury Outdoors where he was chosen fan favorite on the outdoor channel.

It was in the outdoor filming industry is where he met good friends John O’dell and Brandon Jennings both heavy hitters when it comes to pursuing big mature, whitetails, and no strangers at all to outdoor television. Sean really hit it off and connected with John and Brandon due to the main fact that they all shared the same passion not just for hunting but keeping the tradition alive and their families involved from the first step.

After taking some time off from outdoor television to spend more one-on-one time with his children in the outdoors and on hunting adventures. It wasn’t long before Sean‘s little hunting buddy, his son Cole, was eager to start filming and documenting hunts as well. It only made sense at this point to keep a passion and tradition alive and get the ball rolling with Stompin' Groundz TV.

He has made so many memories in the outdoors and looking forward to making many more with family and friends and bringing it to outdoor television. Sean has always made it very clear that he cannot tell his beautiful wife Amanda how thankful he is for understanding his passion for the outdoors and how much he loves her and they’re five children. He has always said they are his biggest fans and supporters even Well before this dream ever came true. He also has never hidden his thankfulness and faith for God for making all of this possible each and every day.

Brandon Jennings

Brandon was born and raised in Missouri. He grew up hunting rabbits, whitetail deer, and turkeys. He was introduced to hunting at an early age by his dad, Larry. They spent countless hours together hunting small game, fishing, and it eventually led to his first deer hunt. Even though his first deer was a doe he was immediately hooked on deer hunting. Those early adventures and the introduction to hunting by his dad are some of his fondest memories.

Brandon’s owes his over-the-top passion for hunting to his stepdad, Shannon. Shannon’s energy and excitement for the outdoors was infectious and Brandon was quickly sucked in. Shannon introduced him to turkey hunting and is where Brandon was first intrigued by the idea of managing whitetails. Brandon is quick to give credit to both his dad and stepdad for his love of the outdoors.

Brandon met Drury Outdoors team member, Bric Steward on a vacation in Jamaica and they quickly became best of friends. When Bric’s dad decided to step away from filming, Bric asked Brandon to partner up with him. This led to Brandon being with Drury Outdoors for 15 years as a co-host of Bow Madness. This was a treasured time in his life, and he learned so much about not only filming hunts but about being a better hunter from all the amazing people he met through this experience. As much as he loved his time there, he always knew that he wanted more.

It has always stuck with him that when he sat with his high school guidance counselor and was asked what he wanted to do with his life. His response was that he wanted to have his own hunting show. He was laughed at, as she thought he was kidding. With so many things happening in life, this was one conversation that always haunted him, and he finally decided to step out on the ledge and take a shot at his dreams.

This had been a thought for years and he knew that John O’Dell and Sean Lundy would be the two perfect guys to team up with and give it a go. After a lot of conversations Stompin’ Groundz TV was born. Now the plan is to not only entertain the audience but to educate them as well. All three of us are family men and our favorite people to hunt with is our children. We hope you enjoy our fast paced, upbeat, and family oriented show as we not only manage deer at home but travel around the world hunting big game.

John O'Dell

John was born and raised in the great state of Iowa. He began hunting at a young age pursuing pheasants with his dad and his grandfather. He put in for and drew his first turkey tag at age 13 and successfully harvested a gobbler on public land. His passion for turkey hunting continued to grow after that first harvest and eventually led him to the competitive Turkey calling circuit where he won multiple state and open Turkey calling contests.

That is when he met Mark Drury and officially became a Drury Outdoors team member in the spring of 1993. He filmed and hunted for DOD for the next three decades. He was on the original season of Dream Season TV on the Outdoor Channel and along with Dave Reisner was voted fan favorite by the viewing audience. He was on Bow Madness since its inception and stayed a co-host of the show for 17 seasons. He was also part of the Drury Outdoors Ring of Honor! John has also included his entire family in his passion, and he has been able to watch his kids grow up on Outdoor TV.

This past summer he resigned from DOD to begin a new adventure with two of his closest friends Brand Jennings and Sean Lundy. Stompin' Groundz will continue to focus on God, family, and the great outdoors! Whether it’s whitetail deer, turkeys, predators, or big game, they will look to educate, inform, and entertain their viewers with hunting adventures from around the globe!
